I would like to think that I would help anyone by taking away their pain if I had the ability like in the book because it would be the right thing to do and it would be beneficial to the person and I wouldn't be impacted in the long-term. However, I can only definitely say that I would do that for a loved one (Kallie Hunton).

If I was Given the power to take pain away from others by taking it on for my self I would help every one, strangers, people close to me or not. For example if I saw some one fall or stub there toe things like that I would take that pain. I would do the same for sunburns or rug burns really anything, that I new or thought that I could handle. I think every one deserves less physical pain or none at all. though I would not take away any emotional pain, even thou you may not want them to be so say or hurt I think that it is important to feel.

If I were to be honest, my initial answer is yes, I would take away the pain away from a stranger and other loved ones. But as I think deeper about it, I truly believe that my actions speak louder than my words. In reality, if I were given this power, I would focus on taking away the pain from people who play the most important roles in my life, and also the people who deserve it. Whether they have done right to me, or I simply see them as a decent human being, I would want to take advantage of my powers and basically, return the favor.

I would try my best to take away the pain from everyone. But my main focus would be to make sure the on closest to me comes first, but still i would want to save the stranger as much as the others.

I would definitely heal anyone who was hurt enough for it to be life threatening, I would feel responsible for that person's death if I had the ability to heal them and chose not to. But if a person was only wounded in a more minor way I think I would let them do most of the healing, and I could try to just take on some of it, so it wasn't too painful for either of us. Unless it was someone I really didn't like, then I'd just be like "enjoy your broken leg".

For me taking some ones pain away and giving it to my self would completely depend on the situation. For example if it was life threatening then I would help any one whether I disliked them or not. I would try to help every one but I don't think I would give special treatment to people that are close to me. If some one I hold close to my heart had an injury that was only slightly painful but some one across the hall had a broken spine I would cross the hall to help them. If some one I loved was about to die from an injury and a stranger was about to perish then I would choose my loved ones. But if the injury had a possibility to improve some ones character then I would let them learn from the experience ( Unless the person would die afterwards from the injury's).
